Zinuk Nehenim V’lomdim child enrichment center operates with the goal of assisting children and their families with ADD/ADHD and sensory processing disorder, whose families are not eligible to receive subsidized government services.
The center administration evaluates different areas of the child and family’s life, targeting specific developmental challenges that could hinder a child’s progress. These include speech or motor delay, the child’s ability to establish and maintain age appropriate social relationships, the child’s ability to focus and learn in school, the child’s ability to express him/herself and communication within the family.
Sensory regulation and social mediation are encouraged to enable the children to be more successful in school and in life.
Family coaching and mediation are provided for parents to help understand and relate to their children and to help foster and develop stable relationships at home with siblings and parents.
Each new family is evaluated, assessed and provided with a plan of how best to accommodate their specific set of circumstances and challenges.
